2017 Fall Elementary School Scholarship
Table tennis is an Olympic sport, and the most popular racket sport on the planet. Table Tennis is also a fun, low impact sport that can be enjoyed year round by those of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. Alameda Table Tennis Club is designated by USATT as one of 10 U.S. national centers of Excellence, and has produced a number of national champions and national team members.
Alameda Table Tennis Club is excited to award 12 scholarships for Alameda elementary school-aged students for the fall session. The scholarship program is designed to expose young players to the correct fundamentals that can one day enable an Olympic level of play. To apply for one of the available scholarships, please register your child for the program by Friday, August 18. If there are more applicants than available scholarship spots, the selection committee will contact applicants for an interview and assessment, and award scholarships accordingly.
Applicants must meet the
following requirements to be considered:
In the Fall of 2017
applicants must be enrolled in grades 1-5 at an Alameda
Elementary school.
